one piece _ this occasional table by caste design

how much i love furniture that looks like a living creature.
i've got the feeling that this little table could
simply walk away if only it wanted to.

double in brass _ two decor pieces that are functional and could easily double as art pieces too

does brass seem to break copper's long-time
reign nowadays? guess so. i love them both tho.

and love both of these pieces too.

that space _ house in a forest by paul kaloustian

when the forest is on the other side
of a curved glass wall. i find this slightly eery
but also very spectacular.

i think the first two photos are of
the actual house already, while the rest of them
might be taken of the architectural model.
that's my guess at least.

that space _ the schaffer house, 1949

omg, feels almost like living outdoors.

this awesome space was designed by
architect john lautner, is in los angeles, california
and was finished in 1949. It's also noted as the house
in tom ford's "a single man".

that space _ living with the past

an italian palazzo in brescia.

i love all those trompe l'oeil frescoes
painted by giuseppe manfredini and giuseppe teosa
in 1808, and i love the rest of the artworks too,
apparently gathered from all over the world.

this warm color scheme is beautiful too,
which i think is really important in a space stuffed
with relics from the past, otherwise it might easily get
frigid, unwelcoming.

íme egy szép itáliai palazzo bresciából.

tetszenek nagyon a trompe l'oeil freskók,
amelyeket, ha minden igaz, 1808-ban festett
giuseppe manfredini and giuseppe teosa.

tetszik ez a meleg színvilág is. szerintem nagyon fontos
a megfelelő színválasztás egy efféle helynél, amely tele van
a múlt "tanúival", ellenkező esetben könnyen
rideggé, idegenné válhat a tér.
