i like the idea

i very, very much like the idea of working with multiple layers of translucent fabrics of different patterns.

i've always liked superimposing things.

this idea is worth experimenting with, i think.

you can, say, put a striped or dotted top underneath a translucent, floral or checkered top or shirt.

I do that sometimes... i sometimes put on sheer layers of differently striped things.

some of these beautiful ties above contain as much as five layers of fabric.

they are just beautiful! and they are handworked.
